So here's what I want you to do: immerse me. I've hit "Mark all as read" so many times in my Google reader it's not even funny, and I know I've missed some stuff. Probably, some pretty good stuff. So link up. Send me to the things I didn't comment on, but should have -- whether you wrote them or not. I've never visited your blog? Now is the time to tell me about it. I want to be here, in this virtual world, and it's time to catch up.
Crickets . . . (Oh, how I wish I could write the sound that they make instead of just saying "crickets". That's lame. But you can still hear them, right?)
I had a baby. Thanks for caring.
ReplyDeleteWell...I'm sure many other people have written far better posts. But I personally would recommend you read my post about my mom http://crayzdaze.blogspot.com/2010/11/other-life-i-might-have-had.html. And my other one about my dad's family http://crayzdaze.blogspot.com/2011/01/those-that-came-before.html. All warm and fuzzy gospel feelings...
ReplyDeleteapesjam.blogspot.com- we're in Idaho now! (at Ricks aka BYU-I)
ReplyDeleteAs long as you read my stuff about little Karl Marx, you've gotten everything good from my corner. Nice to have you back around, big sister. the blogosphere is not nearly as bright without you in it...
ReplyDeleteI have nothing worth mentioning in the last month. It's wintertime and I'm excessively grumpy. :) My very last post however includes several of your very own book recommendations.
ReplyDeleteI've missed you! I was actually thinking a couple of days ago that its been a while since I've read a post of yours!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a ton of posts from the last month, but I'd love if you started reading my NEXT months posts (starting yesterday). I'm turning 30 in 30 days, and I'm doing a post every single day and a couple of giveaways and stuff.
Glad to know you're still around!
I learned that I'm not as open-minded as I thought I was (although I still think I'm pretty open-minded) after meeting a dwarf working in a fast food restaurant (it's actually a far better story than it sounds)

An opportunity for self-aggrandizement? Oh I am ALL over that.
ReplyDeleteBut fair trade, lady. What's going on with YOU?

You didn't leave a comment on this one, but you've been around my blog - that's right, you poor ignored masses, she still reads me! woot woot! - but I feel everyone needs to feel superior to someone else, and I offer myself as that someone every Tuesday and Thursday morning at Zumba.

I'm a newbie--and I am so humble that I won't link up anything I wrote because there are just too many amazing posts of mine and how can I choose?
ReplyDeleteOh. And I am hilarious, fyi.
Love your blog and can't wait to read;)
I myself am just now returning from a month long (or more ....) hiatus.
ReplyDeleteWe're just on the same wavelength, ladyfriend. Or is it the New Year ....?
I got nothing for ya. But glad you are back.
ReplyDelete"Mark all as read" gets tapped a lot here too. Starting over is very therapeutic, huh?
ReplyDeleteOver at my place I have been lamenting a few hard decisions I have to make in placing my special Ed students for next school year. Also, I am trying take a lot more photos for my posts.
Hope you are well.
You're alive! Most recently on my blog: a plea for votes on tweet-length stories I wrote and made to the next round, along with a clip of me cooking on TV from the cookbook.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I posted my new book cover. I'm super excited about that. Um, and people had a lot to say about my "free toaster with purchase" post.
ReplyDeleteI got nuthin for two reasons: 1. I, too have been absent from this world for most of the last month. 2. My memory is Pitiful! (with a capital p!)
ReplyDeleteBut I'm very happy to see you here again!
I fell in love with a blog called "71 Toes" http://71toes.blogspot.com/ maybe you already read it. If you don't you should!
ReplyDeleteTo comment or not to comment...
ReplyDeleteI choose to comment because I love what you wrote. I feel/think just the same way and blog for the same reasons and comment or not, (often not) for the same reasons. I love reading my thoughts written so well by someone else!
I think you're someone I'd like to follow. I'm fairly new to the blogging world but I think it's one of the best things I can do for me and I think your blog might be part of it.
I'm happy to see you posting...I've missed you! Not that I haven't been marking all as read in my own reader, anyway!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I've blogged anything astounding, but you would probably enjoy this post: <a href="http://lalakme.blogspot.com/2011/01/some-musical-moments.html>Some Musical Moments</a>
Well, there's always mindless fodder on my blog, if you're really that bored. I promise, I'll make you laugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably a day late and a dollar short, but your writing put me in mind of my own. Ergo, I share:
